> Story

The sun never sets on the British Empire, as you follow the lives of Alexander Kalinin and his friends
Unfortunetely though, in prologue you'll barely see any story unfold, since many things are not implemented yet, so just walk around, enjoy the atmosphere and bits of lore

> Gameplay

It's a point-and-click, you point a cursor and click, you also can walk around and change locations
Cursor changes appearance when you hover it over something interactible

There is minimal UI, most of standard game menu actions and info are accessed with the tablet
Tutorial walks you through the mechanics; if you skip it, don't forget to pick up the tablet
Also don't forget to check it for new notes

Main character has a visibility cone, keep that in mind
All which is not seen directly is visible at all times in imaginary layer
Vision mode focuses you on the imagination, also highlight the interactible objects

Save at the couch in starting apartment
In order to save, you must input a save id
In order to load, you must input id of a save you want to load

That's how it will work until proper saving UI is implemented, so i advise against being creative with save ids, special characters will inevitably break something

> Controls

Mouse - look around, move pointer
Left click - click on UI buttons
Right click - select an object, open it's interaction menu
Middle click - vision mode (alternatively you can use V key if your mouse somehow doesn't have middle click)
WASD - walk around
Shift - walk faster
Ctrl - walk slower
Tab - open Tablet Processing Unit
Esc - pause menu / go back
F and G - interact (primary and secondary)
Z - skip dialogue

> Notes from the dev

The game begas as a Yume Nikki Fangame in RPGMaker, in which entries form a collective dream journal were to be documented
It quickly shifted form documenting to being inspired by dreams, and in time, a proper gameplay, story and characters have crystallized

Project also briefly changed engines, from RPGMaker (a joke of an engine, honestly) to Unity (powerful, sometimes overkill even + greedy) to finally Godot (really good if you don't interact with it's community)

Since then, it's been developed for a local audience, and now i think it's presentable enough to go public

I reckon the visual style of the game is unique enough
It was born out of objective to avoid pixel art and tilemaps
If you hate the style, or it gives you motion sickness - tough luck, i guess; i'll try to mitigate the latter, but not the former, as it's set in stone by now
