Developer diary entry #1

I am hard at work (hardly working) on tablet PC apps.
As i mentioned before, applets on Alex's tablet PC are vital gameplay elements. Thankfully, i already have beautiful Logos note-taking app in place serving as quest log and journal, but there are more necessary ones that are currently bottlenecking everything else:
- I have no messenger app to write online dialogues. Cannot have all interactions be in person, it is 21st century, after all
- I have no medium for lore bits and other online interactions without a browser and some websites
- I have no database app to "document conspiracies"
These are priority, but many more are planned down the line - they will have to wait, because as soon as i am done with base apps i shall tackle the storyline of chapter 1. Later on i am planning the photography mechanic, but before that i must finish up the "passage of time" mechanic.
I have a lot planned in general, sometimes i think i have too much planned, and i shall refrain from discussing what i am imagining so far in advance.
For now, here is the WIP messenger in attached pic. It looks stupidly simple, but i am already feeling like a half-time frontend developer. Nevermind the lorem ipsum, they will turn into meaningful conversations soon enough.
And indeed, i think i should change the pointer a little when using tablet PC.
